Welcome to Board in the City! We are a tabletop gaming café that pride ourselves in our all-inclusive culture and extensive outreach work. We have hundreds of games to tickle anyone’s fancy, catering for casual cards players to those deep into their D&D adventures.

How much will it cost?
Adult entry is £5 per person
Child entry is £3 per person
Under 5’s are free
Pre-booked group entry is £3 per person (minimum 10 otherwise full adult entry is charged)
Carers on duty are free with a paying guest
Student Thursday £3 per person
Kids under 14 years old must be accompanied by an adult

Table price
To keep our business sustainable, we apply our entrance fees at all times.
Discounts are available for large group bookings (10 or more) when placed in advance. A non-refundable deposit of £3 p/p may be required at the time of booking. We are unable to take group bookings for children only.
We take reservations, walk-ins, groups, and we are also kid-friendly.
Private Hire Rooms
Along with our open areas, we have a dedicated room for large scale strategy, which is available to rent out for as long as you need.
We also have a dedicated, private function room to rent, kitted out with a large TV, dynamic LED lighting, and wall mounted speakers so your games can really come alive!
The private function room and upper level of the café can also serve for group meetings of any nature. Please contact us to find out more.
